I took a walk outside my mind
and I couldn't believe my eyes
I saw a world of cheap attractions
We're consumed by petty distractions

We all do just as we're told
Only living to grow old
Then we look back on our lives
at how we took it all in stride

We spend our lives wondering how
To just be right here, right now
To be living in this very moment
is all I ever need to be content

I can fall now back into myself
Disruptions all set back on the shelf
My life now completely unfurled
I walk outside to face my world
